MANCHESTER, NH – Today, members of the Lynch family, including former Governor John Lynch, Dr. Susan Lynch, and Julia Williams, endorsed Chris Pappas for U.S. Senate.
“Our family has known Chris Pappas for years and we are proud to endorse him for U.S. Senate because, as a business owner and in Congress, he has always put families and workers first. We stand with Chris in this race, and we know that he will stand with the hardworking families, small businesses, and communities in every corner of the state and stand up to anyone who gets in the way of what’s right for New Hampshire.” – Governor John Lynch, Dr. Susan Lynch, and Julia Williams.
“I am so grateful to have the support of Governor Lynch, Dr. Susan Lynch, and Julia Williams in my campaign for U.S. Senate. The Lynch Family has given so much to our state, and so many across New Hampshire have felt their impact. As Governor, John Lynch set an incredibly high standard for public service, and I have looked to his record of working across the aisle, bringing people together, and getting things done as a model throughout my time in office. There are so many important fights ahead that will determine the future of our state and country, and I am glad to have the Lynch Family on our team and standing with us as we work to put New Hampshire first.” – Chris Pappas.
Governor Lynch served as the 80th governor of New Hampshire from 2005 to 2013. Dr. Susan Lynch is a pediatrician and former First Lady of New Hampshire. Julia Williams works in the healthcare industry.
Last week, Pappas received the endorsements of Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Senator Maggie Hassan, and all local IBEW unions representing 8,000 New Hampshire members and their families who work in critical professions and industries. On the first day of this campaign, Pappas was endorsed by Teamsters Local 633 and the New Hampshire Building Trades. He also started the campaign with the backing of End Citizens United and LGBTQ+ Victory Fund, as well as the support of Senator Tammy Baldwin, who currently serves as the only LGBTQ+ member of the United States Senate. If elected, Chris will become the second.
