Former Congresswoman Annie Kuster Endorses Chris Pappas for U.S. Senate
Today, former Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) endorsed Chris Pappas for the U.S. Senate. Kuster represented New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District from 2013 until 2025 and served as the Chair of the New Democrat Coalition during the 118th Congress.
“I have known Chris for more than 20 years and have seen his commitment to public service first-hand, and there’s no question he will be an effective U.S. Senator for the Granite State,” said Congresswoman Kuster. “We know these are challenging times in our country, and Granite Staters deserve a leader like Chris in Washington who’ll take on the toughest fights, stand up to anyone who gets in the way of what’s best for New Hampshire, and work to lower costs for working families. I’m proud to endorse my friend Chris, and I’m ready to get to work in this campaign.”
“It was an honor to serve alongside my friend Annie Kuster in Congress, and I could not be prouder to receive her support in this campaign,” said Congressman Pappas. “Annie is a tireless advocate for New Hampshire, a trailblazer, and a fighter who always does what is right for New Hampshire families and our middle class. From her bipartisan work to address the addiction and mental health crisis to protecting reproductive freedom and building an economy that works for everyone, Annie has led the charge on so many critical issues that matter to Granite Staters. I’m glad she is standing with me in this fight to confront this administration, self-dealing billionaires, and extreme politicians who threaten our future and our ability to get things done for New Hampshire.”
Last week, Pappas received the endorsements of Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Senator Maggie Hassan. Pappas has also received the support of former Governor John Lynch and his family, as well as all local IBEW unions representing 8,000 New Hampshire members and their families who work in critical professions and industries. On the first day of this campaign, Pappas was endorsed by Teamsters Local 633 and the New Hampshire Building Trades. He also started the campaign with the backing of End Citizens United and LGBTQ+ Victory Fund, as well as the support of Senator Tammy Baldwin, who currently serves as the only LGBTQ+ member of the United States Senate. If elected, Chris will become the second.
