ICYMI: Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Chris Pappas for U.S. Senate
MANCHESTER, NH — In case you missed it, Reproductive Freedom for All endorsed Chris Pappas for U.S. Senate for his record of fighting for abortion access and women’s health care. This is part of the organization’s first slate of endorsements for U.S. Senate races in some of the most competitive states of the 2026 midterm election cycle.
“Chris Pappas has a proven track record of defending reproductive freedom in the U.S. House, and we know he’ll keep fighting for Granite Staters and all Americans in the Senate,” said Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju. “If elected, Pappas would make history as the first openly gay man to serve in the U.S. Senate—and as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he knows firsthand just how much we need leaders who will stand up for everyone. With Republicans and anti-abortion extremists using every tool at their disposal to ram through a national abortion ban, the stakes have never been higher. Electing Chris Pappas is critical to making progress in 2026, and Reproductive Freedom for All is thrilled to include him in our first slate of Senate endorsements.”
“Reproductive Freedom for All is leading the fight to protect access to abortion and other critical health care, and I am honored to have their endorsement in my U.S. Senate race,” said Congressman Chris Pappas. “Reproductive health care is essential to keeping our communities safe, healthy, and thriving. As extreme politicians and judges try to turn back the clock on women’s rights, defending reproductive freedom demands our unwavering commitment. In the U.S. Senate, I will continue to fight for this critical care.”
Born and raised in the Granite State, Congressman Chris Pappas has served New Hampshire in Congress since 2019 and previously served three terms on New Hampshire’s Executive Council, where he voted to protect funding for Planned Parenthood.
Throughout his career, Pappas has fought for reproductive health care. This year, he helped introduce legislation including the Women’s Health Protection Act, the Restoring Essential Healthcare Act, and the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Act, reflecting his dedication to defending and expanding reproductive freedom in New Hampshire and across the country.
For over 55 years, Reproductive Freedom for All (formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America) has fought to protect and advance reproductive freedom at the federal and state levels — including access to abortion care, birth control, pregnancy and post-partum care, and paid family leave — for everybody. Reproductive Freedom for All is powered by its more than 4 million members from every state and congressional district in the country, representing the 8 in 10 Americans who support legal abortion.
