ROUNDUP: Congressman Pappas Kicks Off July Celebrating Independence Day With Granite Staters
MANCHESTER, N.H. — Congressman Chris Pappas and his campaign for U.S. Senate spent the Fourth of July celebrating the 250th anniversary of American independence alongside Granite Staters at community parades in Amherst, Merrimack, and Laconia. Throughout the day, Chris joined families, veterans, local officials, volunteers, and supporters to honor our nation’s founding and celebrate the values and communities that make New Hampshire strong.

Team Pappas kicked off Independence Day in Amherst, marching through the town’s historic village alongside Revolutionary War reenactors, local elected officials, community organizations, and neighbors gathered to celebrate 250 years of American independence.
The summer heat didn’t slow down Team Pappas in Merrimack. Chris and his husband, Vann, greeted paradegoers with smiles, handshakes, and American flags, thanking Granite Staters who turned out to celebrate the Fourth of July and their community.
The day concluded in Laconia, where Team Pappas marched through downtown Laconia from the local high school to Opechee Bay, passing small businesses and hundreds of spectators celebrating Independence Day in the heart of the Lakes Region.
