ICYMI: Congressman Pappas, Senator Andy Kim Fire Up Voters Across the Granite State

MANCHESTER, N.H. — In case you missed it, Congressman Chris Pappas was joined on Saturday at events across the Granite State by Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ), Senator Maggie Hassan, Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander, New Hampshire Gubernatorial candidate and former Executive Councilor Cinde Warmington, New Hampshire Congressional candidate Stefany Shaheen, and Executive Council candidate and State Representative Luz Bay to fire up and turn out voters 24 days before Election Day.

At both a Day of Action canvass launch in Manchester hosted by the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, which has endorsed Chris Pappas for U.S. Senate, and at a canvass launch in Dover, Pappas and Kim highlighted how Democrats up and down the ballot will deliver for New Hampshire families. The turnout effort is critical as out-of-state dark money groups spend unprecedented amounts to prop up Trump-endorsed candidate John Sununu, who said he is running for Senate because this race is “important to President Trump’s agenda,” and he supports and has downplayed the worst parts of that agenda — including Trump’s war with Iran, Trump’s tariff taxes, and Trump’s cuts to health care.

“We’ve exposed what Donald Trump is truly all about: this broken man who’s the President of the United States, just totally incompetent each and every day. And the chaos and corruption and cruelty that he has sowed in Washington, D.C. isn’t who we are as Americans, and we get to answer and decide what comes next in our country,” said Congressman Chris Pappas. “So right now the airwaves are being flooded by over $60,000,000 of money that’s coming from Trump, from Elon Musk, from the Koch Brothers network, from all the constellation of right-wing groups that are out there, spending their dark money in New Hampshire, because they think they can buy this seat. People deserve a senator who’s going to fight like hell for them each and every day —
and that’s the senator I want to be for everyone who calls New Hampshire home.”

“Courage is the scarcest resource that we have right now in politics. This isn’t Democrat or Republican — this is about those who support corruption and cowardice versus those who support the Constitution,” said Senator Andy Kim. “I got to serve alongside Chris Pappas in the House of Representatives for a number of years.
We came in together. We are part of that new generation of leadership that this country is so hungry for. They’re hungry for seeing that generation that’s going to say enough of this broken politics. We need Chris because he is the kind of leader that New Hampshire deserves, and that America will be so grateful if you send him to the United States Senate.”
