ICYMI: Congressman Pappas, Senator Reverend Warnock Celebrate Opening of Keene Area Field Office
KEENE, N.H. — In case you missed it, Congressman Chris Pappas and Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock joined New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley, New Hampshire Executive Council candidate and former State Senator Melanie Levesque, New Hampshire House Democratic Leader Alexis Simpson, New Hampshire State Senator Donovan Fenton, and Keene Mayor Jay Kahn to celebrate the opening of the new Organize New Hampshire field office in the Monadnock Region.
Pappas, Warnock, and local leaders highlighted the grassroots effort underway across the Granite State to elect Democrats up and down the ballot and deliver for New Hampshire families — even as out-of-state dark money groups spend unprecedented amounts to prop up Trump-endorsed candidate John Sununu, who said he is running for Senate because this race is “important to President Trump’s agenda,” and he supports and has downplayed the worst parts of that agenda — including Trump’s war with Iran, Trump’s tariff taxes, and Trump’s cuts to health care.

“You’ve got $60 million being spent here in New Hampshire. We’ve got corporate special interests, right-wing super PACs, all trying to tell us who to vote for. But this election is about where the power rests,” said Congressman Chris Pappas. “We don’t need a senator who’s going to be a tool of the special interests and a tool of MAGA interests in Washington, D.C. We need a senator who’s going to stand up and do his damn job and fight for the people of New Hampshire every day. That’s why this race is important. And if we win this race, we bring change to Washington. We bring change to New Hampshire.”
“It’s not about the people in power — it’s about the power in the people. Keep marching. Keep walking. Keep knocking. Keep showing up over and over again because that’s how change comes to America,” said Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock. “You’ve got a choice, New Hampshire. Do you want a politician who’s going to do what all the Republicans in the Senate have been doing and that’s going along just to go along? Or do you want somebody who’s going to stand up for New Hampshire?”
“Everything is on the ballot this year. Healthcare, jobs, our families, our communities. And I know that Chris Pappas is going to fight for all of that in the United States Senate,” said State Senator Donovan Fenton. “So I ask everybody here: knock one more door, put up one more sign, write one more check. Do whatever you can to make sure that we elect Chris Pappas to the United States Senate.”
