Pappas Campaign Launches First TV Ad of the 2024 Cycle, Highlighting Pappas’s Advocacy for Working Families, Small Businesses, and Veterans

Manchester, NH – Today, the Chris Pappas for Congress campaign released its first TV ad of the 2024 cycle. The ad highlights Congressman Pappas’s strong track record of delivering solutions on the issues that matter most to Granite Staters, like lowering the cost of health care, supporting small businesses and workers, and standing up for veterans and their families.

This ad will appear on TV beginning today, and underscores Congressman Pappas’s tireless efforts to make a difference for New Hampshire working families, including:

  • Lowering costs: Congressman Pappas stood up to powerful prescription drug corporations and fought to pass the legislation that capped the price of insulin at $35 per month, lowered out-of-pocket prescription drug costs for seniors on Medicare, and delivered critical investments for New Hampshire communities that are lowering energy costs and helping working families.

  • Supporting small businesses and workers: Congressman Pappas has fought for a number of critical measures to ensure our tax code and our laws work for working people and small businesses, including championing research and development tax credits and the child tax credit.

  • Standing up for veterans and their families: Congressman Pappas has made advocating for veterans a central mission of his time in Congress. He championed the PACT Act to help veterans exposed to toxic substances during their service get the care they need, fought to increase veterans’ benefits, and helped maintain and expand critical VA services in New Hampshire.

The ad also highlights that Congressman Pappas was recently recognized as the most bipartisan House Democrat, thanks to his consistent record of collaborating across party lines to deliver common sense solutions.

The Pappas campaign has out-raised all of the Republican candidates running to represent NH-01 handedly, closing the second quarter of this year with over $2.15 million cash on hand and receiving contributions from every town in the first district this cycle.

Chris Pappas: Every day, Granite Staters roll up their sleeves and solve problems. Protecting our communities, caring for our families, and teaching our kids.

And Congress should work the same way. That’s why I've stayed focused on where we can get things done: lowering the cost of prescription drugs, supporting the workers and small businesses that drive our economy, and improving healthcare and benefits for veterans.

I’m Chris Pappas and I approve this message because, like you, I’m determined to solve problems the New Hampshire way. Together.
