WMUR: Former Opponent State Rep. Jared Sullivan Endorses Chris Pappas in U.S. Senate Race

MANCHESTER, N.H. — In case you missed it, in a joint interview with WMUR, New Hampshire State Representative Jared Sullivan endorsed Congressman Chris Pappas’s campaign for U.S. Senate, citing Pappas’s record of standing up to the Trump Administration and working across the aisle to deliver for Granite Staters.

Chris Pappas continues consolidating support, putting together a broad coalition of Republicans, Independents, and Democrats needed to win in New Hampshire. Sullivan joins the growing list of organized labor groups, small business owners, advocates, and Granite Staters backing Pappas’s Senate campaign because they know he will always put New Hampshire first.

• “I’m impressed with the fact that Chris is able to work with people. As a state rep, I know what it’s like. I know Chris has been in that spot. That’s where he started out. You have to know how to work with people on the other side,” Sullivan said.

• “I’ve been concerned by some of the rhetoric from other candidates in the race that are saying that they’re not going to vote for whoever the eventual Democratic nominee is, and spending too much time attacking the Democratic Party. And whoever may win, right now, Chris is the front-runner. To me, it is far too dangerous to have a Republican replace the Democrat in this seat and continue to push the dangerous Trump agenda, which — in my district, we’ve lost a health care clinic because of that ‘Big, Beautiful Bill,'” Sullivan said.
