Laconia Daily Sun: New Hampshire’s Median Home Price Has Increased 114% in Just 10 Years, 2nd Largest Spike in U.S.
MANCHESTER, N.H. — In case you missed it, the Laconia Daily Sun highlighted skyhigh Granite State home prices putting the American dream out of reach for too many working families. An analysis by Construction Coverage shows that New Hampshire’s median home prices have increased 114% in just 10 years — the second highest increase of any state in the country. Chris Pappas is fighting to bring homeownership back within reach for working Granite Staters.
Earlier this month, Congressman Chris Pappas’s campaign for U.S. Senate launched the fifth plank of its Tax Cuts and Lower Costs Blueprint to tackle the Republicans’ affordability crisis and address the rising cost of housing. Pappas is working to make homeownership a reality by cutting red tape for communities to build more homes, providing tax cuts to help first-time home buyers, and supporting the financing and development of affordable housing.
While John Sununu backs President Trump’s costly tariff policies and war of choice in Iran that are making building more expensive and driving up costs on basic necessities from gas to groceries, Pappas is fighting to put New Hampshire first.
